Artist Statement

My work serves as a profound visual representation of the mind's ongoing attempt to portray the solid evidence of the internal world we all experience. I find myself seduced by the emotional effects of light, and my dedication to harnessing this ethereal element through the use of translucent materials in conjunction with the camera is my unique way of achieving a rich synthesis of these engaging elements. When I engage in the act of photographing light, I believe I am intuitively guided to explore deeper layers of meaning, which in turn leads me to create projects that are not only visually captivating but also aesthetically resonant and evocative. The process itself becomes a dynamic way of seeing and a form of visual thinking that allows the mental space of each image to come to life in a tangible way. I develop environments that emerge from an uncensored mind at work, which later unfurl themselves into messages, thoughts, or ideas that cross the boundary into other sensory modalities, inviting viewers to interpret them in multifaceted ways.
